Work from traffic: Video captures woman on scooter, stuck in Bengaluru traffic, on a video call

Bengaluru’s notorious traffic jams are infamous. Commuters in the city, on average, spend 29 minutes and 10 seconds covering just 10 kilometers. Social media is rife with videos of people multitasking during their commutes, trying to make the most of their time.

The city is no stranger to quirky incidents either. In a video that is being viewed and shared widely, a woman can be seen taking multitasking to new heights by attending a video call while riding a scooter.

Shared by user @Sun46982817Shan on X, the footage captured the woman in question on her scooter with a phone mounted on her handle, engaged in what appears to be a work video call. We can make out that there are at least two people, excluding the woman, in the call, and that she’s turned her video off.

As the camera zooms out and pans, a lengthy line of vehicles stretches down the road. The number plates of vehicles in the video starting with KA 02 (Rajajinagar RTO) hint that the video was indeed shot in Bengaluru.

Accompanying the video is a Tamil caption that roughly translates to, “Works on the road too. What else is done? That’s right. Let’s check the signal. Why are you looking at me?”
