IPL 2024 Orange Cap Holder: Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson was back among the top-five run scorers of the ongoing Indian Premier League season during the match against Delhi Capitals on Tuesday.
Sitting above him in the tally are Kolkata Knight Riders’ Sunil Narine, Chennai Super Kings’ Ruturaj Gaikwad, Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Virat Kohli and Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Travis Head.
On Saturday, Virat Kohli strode to the top of the IPL 2024’s top run scorers standings after a 27-ball 42-run innings in Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s four-wicket win over the Gujarat Titans at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Kohli left Chennai Super Kings’ captain Ruturaj Gaikwad in second spot with his innings. On Wednesday, Gaikwad had surpassed Virat Kohli to top the batting charts.

Last season, current Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill won the Orange Cap with 890 runs. He was followed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Faf du Plessis who scored 730 and Chennai Super Kings Devon Conway with 672. RCB’s Virat Kohli was at number 4 with 639 while Yashasvi Jaiswal came in at 5 with 625.
